Overview:
On May 10, 1940, the German offensive in the west began. Under the "Dyle-Breda" maneuver, General Giruad's 7th Army crossed Belgium to advance toward the city of Breda and join forces with the Dutch army. The 1st Light Mechanized Division (1st DLM) "spotted" its advance, but its first anti-tank troops did not reach the Netherlands before nightfall. The next day, they came into contact with paratroopers and armored cars, while the dragoons took up positions between Breda and Turnhout. Opposite, the 9th Panzer Division and the bulk of the SS-VT Division marched to meet them.Attacker: German (SS) (Reinforced III./SS-Regiment "Deutschland")
