Overview:
The traditional celebration of Walpurgis Night occurs all over Germany, but especially in the sparsely populated Hartz Mountains. The war was grinding to a halt, and it was in the Hartz that the British, French and Soviet Armies linked up in the last days of the war., coincidentally, it was on Walpurgisnacht. The moon was full and the lights of fires twinkled on the mountainside. Then, a distant canine howl went out, answered by other howls. All three armies feared a not-too-unlikely attack from Nazi-hardliners. What actually came was much, much worse.Attacker: German (Werewolfen)
