He dressed up as a Soviet officer and drove on a Soviet artillery tractor to the enemy lines, interrogated some NCO’s informing them he was Marshal Voroshilov, drove back and reported Soviet strength to Von Scholz. Nordland attacked the next day and cleared the road for the division.
